Greetings:
I am having difficulty installing the Red
Hat 5.1 version of kde and would like your erudite advice.
I installed qt-1.33, kdesupport, and kdelibs ok, but when I try to
rpm -Uvh kdebase-1.0-*rh51.i386.rpm
I get the following error message:
libncurses.so.3.0 is needed by kdebase-1.0-7rh51
But when I use MC to locate the file above, it displays
/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libncurses.so.3.0
so what is my problem? The file seems to be installed.
Can you help me?
