hey all...this is way off topic (again), but extremely important...
does anyone know how to trace any sort of AOL IM conversation, or an email
from an AOL account. There are no IPs in the header (I would assume that
AOL would synamically allocate IPs to users since it is so huge).
this is REALLY important because a certain girl that I am dating recieved a
death threat online from someone with an AOL account. I sent a message to
AOL to see what they will do, but I want to nail this fucker. He also
threatened me, and called me a computer geek....that is insulting since I am
a DORK and not a GEEK... big difference.
Anyhow, he also sent an email to her....only thing on the header is the AOL
server and the message ID. Can I do anything with that??? I think that I
know who this is, so I just need to confirm it by getting ANYTHING on
him....
Sorry that this had nothing to do with Linux, but you guys are about a
billion times smarter then any idiot at AOL....so, I thought I would ask
you...
