Some HP printers depend on additional software on the host computer to
create a bitmap type image that the printer nozzles can print. Thus the
standard ghostscript connection won't work. I came across (can't remember
where) a website of a guy who wrote the software that can get a ghostscript
file to an HP 722, but didn't dig into it any further. I'd do a search on
HP 720 and ghostscript, it should turn up this guy's site.

I might ask for your help in the future, I've got a 722 as well, works great
on the Windoze machine, haven't worked things through on the real computer
(Linux box) yet.
