I just put together kind of a manual on how to put together a Linux IP
Masquerade server and was wondering if someone would critique it for me.
Here's the background on this. I spend 3 months last summer trying to put
together this computer. We have an ADSL line with one IP address and
there's about 18 computers on our house network (I'm a college student
living in a coop house). So this computer connects our network with the
internet. Because it took so much work to put this computer together (most
of my problems were solved when I went from Red Hat 4.2 to 5.0) I decided to
write up this manual so after I graduate someone will know what I did. It
is written very basically as I am not a computer expert and those that
follow will probably be less of an expert. Please let me know what you
think. I posted it at http://expert.cc.purdue.edu/~swainb Thanks. Also,
if someone can make use of this please pass it on. I kinda cut and pasted
out of a couple of books and HowTo's. It is only really intended for in my
house, but if someone else can get something out of it that is great.

Later and God Bless
Ben
