new harddisc: set_multmode-error

Hi!

Recently I added a new harddisc to my system (Seagate Medalist 8641,
ST38641A), but every time I boot Linux (Kernel 2.0.32), it says:

hdc:hdc set_multmode: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hdc: set_multmode: error=0x04 { DriveStatus Error }

Nevertheless, it seems to access the drive correctly (as fas as I
can see it - are there any tests for it?).
Is this a known problem or who could know something about it?
Or can it be ignored?
