I'm not too sure what you're refering to here. If you need to know which file
you'll need to edit to set the monitor's hsync and vsync, it's
"/etc/XF86Config" in most systems.

If you wish to know the appropriate value for use in the hsync and vsync
settings, you'll need to search through the manual for your monitor. The hsync
and vsync values are dependent on the make and model of your monitor and it's
generally not a good idea to use an incorrect value.
