Yes. Tell us more. I assume the scsi controller is an adaptec 1542, but what
distribution/version are you trying to install? My Slackware 3.4 disks, for
example, include a bootdisk option for "aha1542.s" and I seem to recall
having used it successfully in the past with an Adaptec 1542 or 1542C
controller. But it's hard to suggest anything very specific without knowing
which distribution and version we are discussing.
