If you have isapnptools installed you must use that to configure the card.
The tools are to programs, pnpdump and isapnp. Use pnpdump > pnp.conf to
create a config file for the card and edit this file to uncomment the
relevant IRQ/IO resources. Then you would run isapnp pnp.conf to set up the
card if all goes well (check using setserial) then add the necessary
command (isapnp pnp.conf, with correct path of course) to /etc/rc.local
(slackware) to have it come up on every boot. You will also have to add a
line to set the correct parameters for the new com port i.e. setserial
/dev/ttyS2 irq 5 uart 16550a spd_vhi for COM3 under dos using IRQ 5 and set
to allow 115200BPS communication.
