You do not state what command you used, one would think that typing;
'init 1' at the LILO prompt should get you into the disk, however i have
never experianced such a fstab problem, but i would certanly try first.
Using the rescue disk, one which you made when you installed Redhat, you
should be able to type at the LILO command line;
'mount root=/dev/hda3'
Now if i decipfer x/dev/hda/3/ , i would imagen you really mean /dev/hda3.
