Hi,
A while ago I posted a question about libXpm.so.4 and libc5. I was trying
to install the Gimp and it requires the libXpm.so.4 library. When I did a
"locate" I found: /usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libXpm.so.4 and

/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libXpm.so.4.9.

Finally someone pointed out that libXpm came in another .rpm (As I use
RedHat) called Xpm.x-y-z.rpm. I installed it and Gimp installed without any
problems. Now when I do "locate libXpm.so" I get:

/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libXpm.so.4
/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libXpm.so.4.9
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4.10

I just thought I'd let people know that I solved that problem and a big
thanks to all who replied. Also, could someone explain why the libXpm.so.4
in libc5 didn't work?
