I dont have a DEC station, but i do have 2 SPARC's one of which gave my a
simalar error a while back, while loading the kernel image into memory i
also got error "Memory fault". Would you belive the memory was bad,
replacing it solved the problem.
Now your problem might be different, try changing the memory and see what
happens.
