Sorry, I should have been more specific. I can download red hat 5.2 no
problems,  but I wasn't too sure which files I needed, and I wanted a
permanent copy. So, this morning I was buying some magazines, and found a copy
of red hat 5.2, which is also a bootable disk. Even better, it came with a
little pocket guide that has been pretty good so far - basic, just like me.So
now I am at the stage of configuring X-windows, and can get the basics up and
running, but I'll have to play with it a bit more.
