Future Upgrade

I will be up upgrading my computer piece by piece very soon. The first thing I
plan to upgrade is my harddrive. Upon it I will put RH5.2.

How do I go about changing the CPU and motherboard afterwards (a month or
two later on)? Will I need to reinstall RH? Or will the RH "upgrade" option do
the job? Are there just a few key files that I can edit to do the trick?
