Good Morning Everyone, I realize that this is not the best forum for this question, but I have no news connection at this time to ask the perl newsgroup. I have over the last two years added an occasional perl module that I thought looked interesting or useful and some don't work. That is, they probably work just fine, but my interpreter says that they can't be found. I make it a point to double/triple check README and INSTALL files and follow the directions to the letter. I have checked perl faq's and because I wish to learn perl I have purchased a couple of learn perl type books (ORA and SAM's) and I am struggling through those. The error messages are typically " searched through the @INC directories and module *.pm not found" I search through these named @INC directories and find them with no problem whatsoever. I have to assume there is some directive that I'm not following when loading a new module and that is never mentioned in README or INSTALL files or perl books because it is so basic that I should intuitively know it. I don't. I'm running perl 5.004 on a RedHat system and on a Slackware system and it occurs both places. I hope I haven't been too vague :-) Thanks JC ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
