I (used to) run apache on my linux box (dial-up ppp with dynamic ip
address) with no special configuration. I have a static domain name
(darqside.dynip.com) which always points to my current ip address.
You might check it out. Details at http://www.dynip.com. This works
for all other protocols (not just http). I have a few people that I
allow to ssh into my box. They don't have to look up my current ip
address, just ssh to darqside.dynip.com.
