It means (approximately) that the kernel can't find your sound card where
it is looking for it.

They will be trying to probe the io address and irq of the card. If you
look in /etc/conf.modules, there is probably something in there telling it
where to look.

PnP is probably the problem. You will need to use isapnp to initialise
the card. If you don't know how to do this, and can't figure it out from
the docs then post agian.
