Some advice I was given a while back was to check your log files. You can be
running fine for ages and suddenly get problems when some log file you knew
nothing about hits 20Meg and you have no disk space left.
I run a daily cron job that runs a find for files >5Meg and posts the
results to root

I am keeping and checking my log files as well as running a few jobs to look
for and delete old files in certain directories. I love PERL and have
written the same types of scripts for the linux PC's that I have running on
my windows PC's.

I've got my permissions set ,the sticky bit set on certain folders, and have
been checking Red Hat's site for security problems.

I'm happy to see that I've been doing what everyone has been saying I should
do.
Guess I'll just sit back and enjoy the silence in my office (until the
exchange server needs re-booting)
