In that case, you have just about everything needed, there is no way to
check what is in your "standard install kernel" that i know of, but it is
accopanyed by modules which you can find in /lib/modules/2.0.xx where 2.0.xx
is your kernel version number. There is something like 160+ modules, that
means that just about all options execpt the ax25 protocols for ham radio
are included in your kernel.

The info above was gained from a redhat 5.0 installation with 2.0.32, now
redhat 5.2 has 2.0.35 or 2.0.36 (cant remember), the total number of modules
will be far higher than 160+ as there is now support for unicode pages, i
susspect they would also be compiled as modules.
