RH 5.2 Installation question

Hello! I�m really newbie,
I'm preparing for my first Red Hat 5.2 Linux installation and I wanna
know if  I have to deactivate the LBA mode from BIOS SETUP for my Hard
Disk (Fujitsu 5.2 Gb). Currently I have Win98 installed on it but I
gonna remove it for Linux...
Another question is on the Utilities of BIOS SETUP I haven't a "Low
Level Format" option so
can I make a "low level format" with Linux installation program?

I would like to read some suggestions...
