Hello, Instead of trying to install RedHat, today I tried to install Slackware. When I created the bootdisk and the rootdisk, I booted into the system using the disks. Instead of partitioning the hard drive with fdisk, I used cfdisk. It seems that cfdisk recongized all of my partitions, while fdisk still gives me the error about over-lapping partitions. This maybe a strange question, but am I doing some harm if I use cfdisk instead of fdisk? Since disk druid and fdisk both refuse to deal with my 10G hard drive, I am kind of worry that I may be doing some bad things if I use cfdisk. Thanks. -----== Sent via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/ Easy access to 50,000+ discussion forums
