Hello again,
Two things:
The desktop settings seem to change by itself, meaning; when I installed
KDE 1.0
one gets, how is it called, four virtual desktops one two three and
four, each with there own background and stuff.
Now, suddenly, starting today I got just two with no names and I don't
know how
to change that so I got my four desktops back. The only thing that has
changed is
that I addet a new user and that I got a brond new monitor (from 15" now
17").
Has someone had simular experiences?
Now, when I start Netscape up, if I'm connected to the internet or not
seems no difference, I get the navigator window OK, but if I open three
nav. windows and
the mail window it freezes up and I can't do annything but wait, can't
even close the windows.
I've read 'bout this problem and the conclusion was that the problem was
gone after upgrading to 4.5, well I use 4.5..........
Could it be that, I got a small network without DNS, netscape is looking
for a DNS for my own hostname on the network first?(wild guess)
