1) Unless you will be connecting ONLY to 2.0 hosts, you will need to have
both 2.0 and 1.0. Very few Unix systems run 2.0.x because of the
incompatibilities and licensing.
2) SSH was *never* GPL and 2.0 is a more restrictive license.
3) That said, there is a secure ftp in 2.0 as I understand it.
4) Those who have tried it have told me that 2.0 is substantially slower
than 1.2.26.
