Well I've just started using knews (nothing to do with KDE), and found it
very good. It's an X newsreader/poster. However, I run this at work under
Solaris on a Sun system, so I don't know how it performs with Linux. I was
told by the newsmaster at my feed site that netscape gave them problems (they
run dnews for the feed software) - something to do with the authentication;
so I didn't use it.
