Rockwell-Based modems, e.g. the Creatix 144FV, do work, but conversion of
their voice data to PVF isn't possible, because Rockwell considers their
ADPCM voice data format proprietary and refuses to hand out informations
about it, unless you sign a non-disclosure agreement, which in turn would
prevent me from giving away the source code. Complain to Rockwell about it.

Does that mean I couldn't use Rockwell-based modem? Or maybe I could just
play the voice via modem? but could do nothing with the voice data?
I've been told I could write scripts to control modem. but where and how?
Currently, my vgetty work for normal login, and report ppp is not supported
unless I kill it. then I receive respawn so fast, disable for xx minutes.
(hey could i add a delay for respawn of getty in inittab?)
Would you please show me a sample of script which play, record, voice.
understand 0-9 tons, (so we could write interactive games, played by
telephone keypad.:-)
