After the comments about Canon printers (610,4100) on Redhat workig only in b&w, under Suse Linux they work in colour. Yast sets up drivers for the 10e, 600, 800. I use the 600 driver with a 4100 - it works. res 360x360 All Yast does is setup apsfilter, so it should be doable on other systems. Just so you don't throw your colour cartridges out.
