Hello,
I got brave again and tried to load linux on my work computer. This time I went to
Slackware, rather than RedHat. At the boot prompt, I put in ramdisk hda = 19831,16,63
for my drive geometry. With this, fdisk recongized all of my partition just fine. I
was able to remove the last NT partition of my 10G disk, partition it and load linux
on it. The problem is that now I can't get into NT anymore. Whenever I tried to boot
into NT, it would hang at reading DMPI pool data and stops. I could boot fine into
slackware with a boot floppy but not NT. What did I do wrong? Thanks.
