Hello everyone, I am having some difficulty compiling programs which I download. I recently downloaded Samba 2.0.2 and was going to build the RPM for it from the source. In the ./packaging/ directory there is a script to do this all for a person. When I run the script I hit a brick wall. The error goes as follows: .... everything going fine..... Compiling passdb/nispass.c Compiling passdb/smbpasschange.c Compiling printing/pcap.c Compiling printing/print_svid.c Compiling printing/printing.c printing/printing.c: In function `parse_lpq_bsd': printing/printing.c:266: `__ERROR__XX__NEVER_USE_STRCAT___' undeclared (first use in this function) printing/printing.c:266: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once printing/printing.c:266: for each function it appears in.) printing/printing.c:266: parse error before `;' printing/printing.c:267: parse error before `;' printing/printing.c: In function `parse_lpq_lprng': printing/printing.c:381: `__ERROR__XX__NEVER_USE_STRCAT___' undeclared (first use in this function) printing/printing.c:381: parse error before `;' printing/printing.c:382: parse error before `;' make: *** [printing/printing.o] Error 1 Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.37161 (%build) I have searched all over for the string "__ERROR__XX__NEVER_USE_STRCAT__" and can't find it. Just wondering if anyone might know what is causing this error. ------------------------------------------------------ Another message from Jer Wiebe Find me at... email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ: 4945359
