Hi Hal,
            I had a similar problem a while ago, from memory the problem
stems from M$, for dos or windows to be bootable it has to set as to be
set as c: drive, so to see one, you can't see the other as you can't have
two c: drives. I am sure that I was able to boot to either dos or win95,
and at that time I was also running os/2 warp, but I think I got away
with it because my dos partition was on a 2 phyical h/d, that already had
dos loaded, so I just added it the mbr. I was also using the boot manager
that came with os/2, but this shouldn't make any difference. But I know
that if I say booted to dos, I couldn't access the win95 partition.

The only real suggestionI can offer is to boot dos 6.2 from a disk. A
hassle, but you would still be able to acess the win95 partition.
