Could you send me a copy of your isapnp.conf file - I have been unable to figure out the settings for my sound card, maybe a working file could help. But, I can not get my modem to work. If so, then how? you need to use setserial to complete the configuration basically setserial /dev/modem port 0x02e8 irq 4 UART 16550A CHECK the man pages for the exact command, setserial can crash Linux. /dev/modem may be a symlink to your actual modem port. I am not sure but I think this is almost arbitrary. And I am sure the isapnp faq said not to use irq 4 or 5. > When I try to use the modem config tool in the control panel, then try to run > kppp it says my modem is busy. > > Thanks, > Micah -- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything Public Enemy RH5.2 OUT OF ORDER Personal 17728385
