If you mean a Color Graphics Adaptor left over from a 286 or earlier,
yes, it will use one as a text connsole if one is there. It's not
pretty, and I don't know of an X server for it, but before I found that a
coat of epoxy on the flyback transformer will stop a VGA from sparking
and shorting out, I used one for a few days recently.
