Hi all,
I've been trying for two days now to compile the 2.2.1 kernel with
modules. The compilation works great (I include support for loading the
modules, but NOT 'set version...' or the kernel autoloader...). I did
make clean; make dep; make zlilo; make modules; make modules_install. No
errors...
After rebooting, when I try a 'insmod msdos' or anything else (msdos.o
is in /lib/modules/2.2.1/fs!) it gives me 'kernel_version needed, but
can't be found'. I haven't used anything besides the stuff that came
with the kernel.
Any ideas???
