yes - "cured" :)

don't think i did anything 2 limit memory sizing - config asks about the 16MB
limit - but i think i answered correctly - btw/ it's an  ASUS motherboard
SIS AGP chipset (i believe)  - oh yeah - i've rebuilt the kernel (several times)

 perhaps it wuz something i did - i'll dink with config when i get some time
(and am in the mood)

Xfree86  -vs - Win(or Lose)98

it's Xfree86 hands down - however - does anyone have any good graphics
benchmarks that can authoritatively put this question 2 rest?

oh and plz switch mom - don't wanna poison her perception of computing :)
