Express in this particular example, please ensure you have disabled HTML
email.
FWIW, I (and I *know* I'm not the only person) have a mail filter that
sends all such mail (unread) to purgatory; I just happened to catch it. If
you're not getting the responses you hoped for, this could be one reason.
