Greetings!

I have a small problem with my Linux box. I installed Mandrake Linux (the
Redhat 5.2 clone) and managed to get it working so that I could use the
Linux drives from Win95/98. But, when my friend and I were trying to get the
box set up as a lan-based internet server (ie.; any of the Win95/8 or Linux
boxes on my small LAN can use Netscape to access the internet using the
modem on my main Linux box) I killed something. I can telnet to the Linux
box, but I cannot look at it as a network neighborhood drive. It does show
samba version ... when I try to access the Linux box, it says <<name
here>>// is inaccessible. The computer or sharename could not be found. Make
sure you typed it correctly.

Anyone have any ideas? Also, can someone share a set of scripts and some
advice for making a firewalled proxy server out of my nice Mandrake (RH 5.2)
box?

Regards to all, Jim Darrough
