You can safely remove log files, most of the files in /tmp can go,but thats
not adviseable as some "might" be in use.
bash_history could also go, but that will hinder use of the up and dopwn
history arrows.
core files, definatly, dont use the programs that cause segfaults, ;-)
Another good way to save space is clean up in archives where you have been
compileing programs, command to use, 'make distclean' espesaly in the
./linux dir, as that will get you a few megs back.
You could also remove all source files (if you have the tar archives).
