I wonder if someone can help with this problem. I have just installed
Red Hat 5.2 , (2.0.36) from a CD distribution. I am able to open Xwindow
with the *startx* command. When I click on
Start-Programs-Administration, I get a list which includes *About
Myself*, *Change Password*, *Control Panel*, *Disk Management*, *Help
Tool*, and *Kernel Configuration* that when I click on them do not open
any applications. The remainder if that same Aministration list is:
*Liux config*, *Network Config*, *Printer Tool*, and several others that
do open the application when clicked. I have reinstalled twice, making
sure that I have selected the appropriate packages. Any suggestions as
to what to do from here. I'm a complete newbie with Linux and self
taught as far as computer skills are concerned so please be very
specific in answering. Thanks in advance.
