correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think windows likes being
on drive D: something tells me windows wants only to be on the
first drive. i wonder if i'm wrong, but i've always installed on that
assumption.
there is a program on the RH cd, 5.2 anyway, called
Part, or something like that. the docs say you can use it to "hide"
drives & partitions at boot up to make an OS on a second, third,
or etc drive think it's the C: drive. i have not used it for other than
backing up my MBR, so i can't say for sure, but it might help.
