Minix doesn't like me

I downloaded Minix the other day and tried to install it yesterday...
=(... it ate my partitions on my hard drive.  And what's worse, I can't
find my Red Hat 5.2 CD-- so I'm using Slackware (which I can't figure out
how to connect via PPP to the 'net... =(
