Hello,

This maybe isn't totally in the scope of this list, but I'm at wits end
trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've downlaod the latest stable
version of PERL 5.004_04 and installed it on my Linux box. I did this
because I was trying to install some modules and it said I was only and
5.001 and needed 5.002. Now after the new 5.004 install, of which
everything worked exactly how it was suppose to, It still says I have
5.001. I did all the makecleans, make Configure, make , make test, make
install. The final line from the install is everything is installed or
uptodate. But I still can't install these modules without it telling me I
need a newer version. ANY IDEAS about what I'm doing wrong?????

Any help or suggestion would be MUCH appreciated!!

Mike
