i'm sorry to trouble u guys .. but i still couldn't get appletalk from
my startup
...
i got some solutions from raider and u to recompile the kernel with no
appletalk & also to put the line alias net-pf-5  off   # appletalk into
/etc/conf.modules ..
i've done both ... the compile seemed okay , but when i reboot , i see
something like finding module dependencies ...
/lib/modules/2.0.36/appletalk.o: some error ..
when i do a depmod -a ... i'll get a
insmod:/lib/modules/2.0.36/appletalk.o :
unresolved symbol ..

ps ... after i see IPX loaded , i don't see the appletalk getting loaded

anymore ... at least that  seems to work ..
