They are files opened by sendmail, when an incomming message starts to 
arrive, if the link (ppp or whatever) dies, then that file will be left,
check to see, 1) that they are 0 bytes, 'ls -al /var/spool/mqueue' and that
2) sendmail only shows 'sendmail: accepting connections on port 25' with 
'ps ax' if so just delete them with 'rm'.
