You can use the /etc/aliases file for this, or at least thats what i do.
An example would be something like the following, which is a machine with
44.137.28.27 as its ip.
root: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
pa3gcu: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
All mail addressed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED] gets sent
to [EMAIL PROTECTED] which is pa3gcu.ampr.org
Remember after adding aliases you must run 'newaliases' to tell sendmail
about the new entries.
'newaliases' will do.
