Hi,

the Eicon Diva T/A hides ISDN to the host. All it requires is a PPP
connection, so I would not spend too much time on ISDN-Linux HOWTOs.
The T/A is configured using a VT100 terminal emulation, can you
at least do that? When the dial command is sent, does the TA status
LEDs shows any good thing? I am writing this from memory, I do not
have a box in front of me so can not help any further. Suggestion:
use Window, if possible, so that you can get help from Eicon or
the reseller or the ISP to at least get the ISDN portion running.
After that switch back to Linux; the box should not notice the
difference.

Another suggestion: to make the most use of the TA box, if you plan
in using both compression and MLPPP (128 Kbps), make sure to have
a high performance serial port (16650 or better), the troughput
could be quite demanding for a 16550 or less serial port. BTW, does
Linux support 16650 and 16750 serial controllers?
