1. My monitor has taken to blushing, it turns a shade of pink, sometimes with a bunch of lines running across. The lines are pink also, faint enough to see the colours behind the lines but dark enough to be disconcerting. It also flickers, actually the pink flicks on and off giving that illusion. Has anyone else experienced this ? Also it happens intermittently - not all the time. The last time it happened it went away after I reduced the refresh cycles in NT 2. How can I check the refresh rate from X ? Is there a way of forcing X to use a specific refresh rate ? 3. Is there anyone here who has had a refresh rate too high for their monitor ? Mine shouldn't be, but I would like to know for sure. From memory the picture is non existent, rather there is a lot of static and noise.
