I am trying to install Debian 1.3 and am having a problem with the
keyboard freezing at some random point in the installation program. I
know that 1.3 is out of date but has anyone else seen this?

It doesn't do this with dos or win95. I thought maybe I was choosing the
wrong keyboard when Debian asks which one you have. I chose US English
because everything else was for other countries.

Several days ago, I installed it successfully with only one keyboard
hangup. Never had any trouble with it once I was booting Linux from the
hd. Had to reinstall today due to an "operator malfunction". :-)

I have unplugged and plugged the keyboard connector several times (with
power off, of course). Not even the Caps Lock and Num Lock keys work.
