The theory is sound but here is the problem.  C and E are not physically
located near each other thus you will not be able to do this without using
software as partition magic.  And to use it you will need to shrink c,
enlarge d, shrink d, enlarge e , shrink e and then finally create the new
partition for Linux.  There is always the possibility of purchasing a cheap
500mb-800mb drive off of one of the auctions online.  This will run you
($30.00) and some people guarantee them.  Other than that, I don't know of
any other way.  If there is can you send it to me also.

What I want to do it take 500M from my C drive and 500M from my E drive and
combine it (I figured I'd just create these two partitions and then later
delete and recreate them in disk druid as linux native partitions).  Is
there any way to get FIPS to do this, or should I go ahead and invest in
Partition Magic?  TIA for all input.
