Hi!
As you probably could see on the list I use procmail to
sort/filter my mail, formail to break the digests, pine to read the mail
and compose the new messages, although it happens for me to use the ond
mail with ed. I have RH4.2. I don't own the CD, but I think I installed
all tools I need.
Now here comes my problem. Some mailing lists attach at the end
of a message some text. Or the last message from a digest has some extra
informations. Anyway, this is the same problem. Does anybody have any
idea about how to remove those lines? Something like a command line. Not
something too complex like a perl script. I think I can do it the
complicated way. I want something easy. I connect to the server, send
my mail, get the new mail, than sort it, and at this step, when the
messages are taken from /var/spool/mail/$USERNAME and put in different
mail folders in $HOME/mail, I want to erase those final lines. Right now
I would apperciate something that will go quick as well... there can be
more messages to sort and I have only a 486.

        TIA,
        Raider
