I'm assuming that your card is Creative Labs 'something'. There are a lot of
new CL cards supported in XFree86 3.3.3. If you don't already have it you might
want to upgrade.
As for the monitor, try setting it as a generic VESA. Of course it
depends on what X configuration program you're running.
Trouble with Packard Bell is that even they don't know the specs on their
hardware!
