I assume you mean "xdm" (case counts in Unix/Linux). The only site I can
think of is one that describes using xdm to set up old '486s as Xterminals

On another list I'm on, someone recently recommended the "xterm" package
available at this site: ftp://ftp.solucorp.qc.ca/pub/xterm . But I haven't
looked at it myself, so I don't know if it would fit your needs.
