They have, though it took them a long time to get around to it.  I used
it to unzip my Zipslack.  From their website:

"PKZIP 2.50 for DOS will use DOS Protected Mode Interface (DPMI) in
Windows 95/98, OS/2 and other DPMI supported environments to run 32-bit
code for better and faster compression performance."
